Hypothetical question: If you got two auditions for the same character at the same time, would you pick the one that came first or the one who has better grammar/rp skills/etc?
When we get two auditions(or more) for the same character, we do weigh them together and choose not just the one that has better grammar but the one that gives more of an example of what their character will be like. You can’t really choose based on roleplay skills as it’s only an audition. But grammar does stick out. If the audition can’t be read due to grammatical errors then it’s a good chance it won’t be picked. When you do an audition, you’re letting the admins know how you’re going to be playing the character. How you intend to play their personality, what kind of writing you’ll be using. You only get one audition, after all. So I suppose after my usual long winded response, it’s not ‘first come first serve’ so much as it’s ‘lets see if we get another one and compare the two’ and the more appealing/better looking one does indeed get picked. -Din |
